Sam and Ian contacted me a few weeks before to ask if I had availability to shoot their micro wedding at PGA west on New Years Eve! I was so excited to have the date available and no crazy New Years Eve plans set in stone. I don’t know what it is, but once 30 years old hit and now with 2 toddlers in tow, a long night out just hasn’t had its appeal lately. I’d rather shoot a wedding and celebrate love 🙂

Anyway, we started at Sam and Ian’s families home in PGA west where they were getting ready. I immediately fell in love with the most beautiful arch way and was obsessed with the lighting! Sam and Ian had the sweetest first look, after which we took some pictures with their beautiful backyard view (and a Rolls Royce!), and then headed down to the ceremony site where they exchanged vows in front of their immediate family and closest friends. These types of weddings I fall in love with every time because it’s such a joy to be able to be a part of such an intimate and special moment, but also gives me a chance to get to know couples on a more personal level. I just loved Sam and Ian and loved spending the afternoon with them 🙂 Congrats guys!
