My wedding packages include myself along with a second shooter, who most often times is my talented husband, an engagement session, a wedding guide, a custom wedding day timeline, edited high-resolution images within a private online gallery,
as well as a usb containing your photos for additional safe keeping.
my hubby got me my first camera before our daughter was born almost 7 years ago with the desire to document our children growing up. i actually quickly started newborn photography thereafter, then gradually leaned into family portrait photography. i have now also been shooting weddings for 4 years, realizing i love celebrating love and being able to document and tell a story of a day through photos.
i use 2 canon 5D Mark IV camera bodies on your wedding day. I'm also a prime lens girl, so I am typically carrying my 24 or 35mm wide lens, a 50mm, 85mm 100 macro, and a 70-200. i also use profoto a10 flashes to capture those dance moves at the end of the night.
generally, i'm able to deliver 100 images per hour of shoot time. for an 8-hour wedding day, expect on average 800 edited images to treasure for a lifetime.
yes, i do! I love offering complimentary engagement sessions with my packages because it allows you and your partner to celebrate love and opportunity to capture your love on a more intimate level. it also allows you and i to build a relationship and rapport with one another, allowing more comfort in front of my camera, which i've found creates more natural and authentic images on your wedding day.
i deliver your full wedding gallery within 8 weeks of your wedding. portrait sessions will be delivered within 2-3 weeks of your session date.
I absolutely love doing first looks for a few reasons. first, i've found it allows the couple to connect at an intimate level before ceremony begins, and may even help diminish nerves in the lead up to the days events. secondly, it allows for not time aone together with each other and also your guests! most of your portraits together will be done before the ceremony begins, which in turn allows you to join cocktail hour and spend time with you guests who may have traveled at long distances to celebrate you! that being said, i will never stear you away from tradition or your wants and desire on your wedding day :) Read more about first looks here.
Yes! While i mostly serve palm springs and southern california, I absolutely love to travel and shoot in new places!
